Civil Engineering of Columbia was incorporated in 1974, with our first office located on Lady Street in Columbia, South Carolina. We began as a consulting engineering firm serving primarily the Central Midlands Area of South Carolina. At that time, the company consisted of only two individuals, the founders - William Brown and Harry Walsh. Shortly thereafter, we began to grow, and in 1975 we moved to Frink Street in Cayce, South Carolina.

Since 1980, we have been located at 3608 Fernandina Road in Lexington County, and have expanded in size. We currently employ over twenty people, with three professional engineers and two professional surveyors on staff. Similarly, over the life of our company we have expanded the area of our service to include projects throughout South Carolina and portions of North Carolina and Georgia. We currently have professional engineering and surveying licenses in all three of these states.
