Civil Engineering of Columbia (CEC) was established in 1974 by its principles, William H. "Bill" Brown and Harry O. Walsh, Jr.

Surveying, site work design, water, sewer, grading, drainage, land planning, studies and reports are the primary services offered by CEC. We also have excellent working relationships with Architects and Engineers of other disciplines (soils, foundations, structural, etc.)

CEC uses several engineering software programs. Our computer-aided drafting and design (CADD) software of choice is Terramodel, developed by Spectra Precision. Terramodel is a powerful engineering and surveying program capable of creating and reading AutoCAD files. We have complete compatability with AutoCAD.

Other software used include WaterCAD, Drain:Edge, SEDCAD, ICPR, HECRAS and HECHMS.
